Dear EAHP members,
The EAHP EXCO has the sad duty to inform you that one of our members of EAHP, Dr. Gorana Aralica from Croatia, passed away in December.
Dr. Aralica worked at the Department of Pathology at the Medical School of the University of Zagreb and was an active member of both the EAHP and the EBMWG for many years.
Alexandar Tzankov has written a very warm obituary which is attached.
On behalf of the EAHP EXCO

This Case of the Quarter consists of a clinical presentation and case summary of anaplastic large cell lymphoma, ALK-negative (ALK-ALCL), has shed provisional status, and is now recognized as a specific diagnostic category in the revised 2017 WHO classification. This Case will provide an overview of ALK-ALCL with DUSP22 rearrangement (DUSP22-IRF4 locus on 6p25.3), which is a unique subset of this entity. This course will discuss genetic findings, morphologic and immnohistochemical features, clinical findings, and main differential diagnosis. This Case of the Quarter is available from the ASCP education store. This activity provides 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CMETM credit. This course is free for SH members and can be accessed through the ASCP site at www.ascp.org. Look for your new course under "My Learning Plan".
