Academic Hematological Pathologist
The University Health Network Department of Laboratory Medicine and the Laboratory Medicine Program are seeking a faculty member at the Assistant / Associate Professor / Full Professor level with diagnostic and academic interests in the area of Hematological Pathology . The successful candidate will join a sub-specialized faculty with various diagnostic expertise, teaching responsibilities, basic and clinical research activities. The department has a high volume of interesting cases and Utilizes leading-edge technologies, zoals molecular diagnostics and cancer cytogenetics. Minimum requirements include MD degree, certification in Hematological pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent, and eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The successful candidate will have a joint academic appointment in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, University of Toronto. Preference will be've've've given to candidates with a strong track record in diagnosing Hematopathology expertise, preferentially-including lymphoma diagnosis, and academic Endeavors.
