Clinical Pathologist – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Children’s), located in Atlanta, Georgia, has an immediate opening for a Clinical Pathologist.  This newly created position will serve to assist the Director of Clinical Pathology with administration of laboratories in this large pediatric healthcare system.  The Clinical Pathologist will join a group of sixteen faculty members, seven of whom are existing Clinical Pathologists and PhD laboratory scientists.  The department is known for outstanding pediatric clinical and anatomic pathology.  Successful candidates should have technical excellence and good interpersonal skills, allowing for productive interaction with technical staff, other department faculty, and caregivers.  An opportunity to rotate in hematopathology is also available, should the candidate have appropriate board certification or eligibility in hematopathology.

Qualifications include:

Doctor of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine
Successful completion of post-graduate pathology residency training program
Board certified or eligible in Clinical Pathology
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia
