Assistant Professor - Academic Clinician Track - Division of Hematopathology


The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in the academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Hematopathology.  Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring of Medical Students, Pathology Residents, and Hematopathology Fellows.  Clinical responsibilities may include diagnostic reporting of hematopoietic tissue specimens (including lymph nodes, bone marrows, peripheral smears), interpretation of flow cytometry, including minimal residual disease testing.


Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. American Board of Pathology certification is required in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology with subspecialty certification in Hematology (Hematopathology).
